My Spy Family is a new British comedy on UK channel Boomerang.

The show follows the story of The Bannons, a family of ex-super spies who are forced into early retirement in the quiet leafy suburbs of Batley.

Struggling to leave their past lives of thrills, covert operations and high tech gadgetry behind Dirk Bannon, the UK's foremost lethal and glamorous spy, together with his wife, former Soviet spy supreme, Talia and their three children, learn how to deal with normal life in rural England (where nothing dangerous EVER happens!).

Whatever problems or challenges the mundane, day-to-day life throws up, no matter how simple or straightforward, you can be sure Dirk and Talia will gladly revert back to their agent days of espionage, intelligence and high-tech gizmos to save the day.
